Permit to Purchase a Handgun (Gun Certificates):
To obtain a permit to purchase a handgun, the following is needed:
- A current Nebraska Driver’s License, State ID Card or Military ID with your CURRENT Saunders County address
- A $5.00 fee payable with check or cash; no bills larger than $20.00 please. Credit cards or debit cards are not accepted.
Your gun certificate will be mailed out or you may pick it up after two (2) working days, not to include the application day.
